It was a special night at OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino as The Cult played their first show in the area in quite some time. Led by vocalist Ian Astbury and guitarist Billy Duffy, the two members that were there from the start, the band put on an electrifying performance. On Tuesday night in September, the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls hosted the final North American tour stop for the UK’s current rock phenomenon, Yungblud. He delivered a performance that was nothing short of electrifying. The 5,000-seat venue sold out in under three minutes, a fact that even Harrison himself seemed shocked by. There are many strong words to use when describing a Garbage concert. Tense, immense, tremendous and prodigious all first come to mind. Tuesday night Garbage commanded the stage with the autocratic Shirley Manson at the helm. Stage AE was packed solid that to get a good view from the back you would have to have hung from the ceiling or be seven feet tall. While the summer concert season has come to a close out at the Empower FCU Amphitheater, the action moved to the arena at Oncenter Tuesday night. Halestorm with guests Lindsey Stirling and Apocalyptica filled the arena and put on an amazing show. On paper it seemed like an odd bill with a symphonic band (Apocalyptica), an artist who plays the violin (Stirling) and a straight ahead rock band (Halestorm). Oddly enough it worked to perfection.
