The kings of glam metal are on tour for the first time in five years. They roared into the Times-Union Center Tuesday and treated the state capital to a fun-filled evening for the first time since 2002. Poison’s brief 70 minute was full of all the obvious things that endear this band to its hardcore fans. They are currently winding down the first leg of their tour with Def Leppard and Tesla with a few select headlining dates, their first in some five years. Continue reading

The Seneca Niagara Events Center was the place to be Friday evening as The Symphonic Rock show came to town. It featured a full orchestra flanked by a guitarist, bassist, keyboardist and drummer. There was plenty of vocal star power on hand. The show featured the original singer of Foreigner Lou Gramm, Starship’s Mickey Thomas, Terri Nunn from Berlin and Robin McAuley who sang with McAuley-Schenker and for a brief time Survivor.
