Stryper made their way to Buffalo over the weekend for their first area appearance in some ten years. This time was quite different as the appropriately titled tour To Hell With The Amps landed them at the Town Ballroom. While the turnout wasn’t quite what the venue and promoters may have wanted, those in attendance will take a rare area appearance by the band any way they can get them. While the Town Ballroom hands down is the best of the 1000 seaters in town, this was not an ideal choice for this type of show (see below). Continue reading →

For our next album ranking we took on the task of ranking the 17-album catalog from Iron Maiden. A long storied band who released their debut in 1980. Current and best known vocalist Bruce Dickinson came aboard in 1982 and the rest as they say is history. Check it out as we rank the complete catalog all the way til the latest release Senjutsu.

Erie, PA welcomed the return of Donnie Iris and the Cruisers to the Warner Theatre this past Saturday night. Iris was diagnosed and treated for cancer in early 2023. He announced he is currently cancer free to the appreciative crowd which drew a huge applause. Iris is one of those freaks of nature even at 81 years old as he can still put on a performance better than many that are half his age. Continue reading →

The show was the band’s first in Syracuse since 2005 when they last played at The Landmark Theatre. Nineteen long years between visits and the first noticeable thing was the performance and sound of the band. While the years have added up the band is still putting on very extremely satisfying shows for the fans and have not lost a thing. Even at 72 years of age vocalist Rob Halford is still singing like he was back when he last came to town in 2005. Continue reading →

Sebastian Bach is back out on the road supporting his brand new album Child Within The Man. It had been ten years since he last released a solo album back with 2014’s Give Em’ Hell. Bach is currently in the midst of his first full tour since 2021. He said “After being locked in our houses for two years… Here I Am..” as introduced one of just many songs from his old band Skid Row. Continue reading →
