Ann Wilson, the voice of Heart performed at the Fallsview Casino Resort Thursday evening. With Heart currently on hiatus, Wilson has used the time to form a new band featuring Heart guitarist Craig Bartock, keyboardist Daniel Walker, drummer Denny Fongheiser and bassist Andy Stoller. Our Lady Peace are on the road promoting their latest effort, Somethingness. The release came in two seperate parts, Vol.1 in August of 2017 was a 4-song EP and February delivered Vol. 2 which featured not only five additional songs, but also the Vol.1 songs. “The Priest is back” exclaimed singer Rob Halford a few songs into the band’s concert Thursday evening. Judas Priest put on a clinic in front of a crowd of about 4,500 metal heads inside the Covelli Centre in Youngstown , Ohio. The show was just the second night of the band’s Firepower tour, their first tour since late 2015. Much to my surprise the band did not appear to show any signs of rust due to their extended layoff as they appeared to be in mid-tour form already. Continue reading →
