The 80’s came alive in full force with two artists that dominated the airwaves on the radio. Bryan Adams and Billy Idol gave the Darien Center crowd exactly what they came for..the hits and a little more. Billy Idol was up first and played all the songs he is known for. Bryan Adams closed out the show with a run through many of his best loved songs which was heavy on his gem Reckless. All in all a glorious evening that celebrated the best of both artists. Formed in 1973 in London the band consisted of former Free members Paul Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirke. They were joined by guitarist Mick Ralphs (formerly of Mott The Hoople) and bassist Boz Burrell (ex-King Crimson). The band came right out of the gate with their self-titled release Bad Company in 1974. That album received a great deal of airplay that propelled it to #1 on the Billboard album charts. Former teen heartthrob Shaun Cassidy returned to the concert stage Friday night for a rare show in the Bear’s Den inside the fabulous Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. The show marked just his third show of his current five show mini tour.
