Genesis made their first appearance since 2007 at the arena. The show billed as the Last Domino? Tour touched down for band’s 10th show of a 21 date tour. Genesis has had a longstanding love affair with Buffalo so it was special that they played here one more night. It took a few songs for Collins voice to settle in but considering it was the third show on consecutive nights Collins sounded pretty good for his age.

The Good
• The band sounded tight musically
• Nic did his father proud on drums
• Overall a decent mix of songs that goes through history of the band
• Phil is as witty as ever
• Collins best sounding song of the night was “Home By The Sea” as he nailed it
• Excellent light show and graphics

The Not So Good
• As with his solo show it takes Collins a few songs to start sounding
decent
• “Domino” served the crowd just fine as a bathroom break song and should have been axed
• Band should consider using a curtain to get Collins in place before starting show
• Too many songs in set from cheesy later 80’s/90’s albums

What Could Have Been Better
• Opening with “Mama” would have made better sense
• Not playing anything off Abacab was unbelievable. The title song or even “Man On The Corner” would have sufficed
• I find it kind of odd the band played “Misunderstanding” at both Chicago shows but not since
