A pair of 73 year-olds teamed up for what was a special evening at KeyBank Center Monday evening. James Taylor and Jackson Browne concluded the final show of their lengthy 2021 tour to a very respectable crowd. Former teen sensation Shaun Cassidy made another appearance at the Bear’s Den Saturday evening. He first appeared in August of 2019 which at that time was one of his first shows since his 1980 Astrodome show. Yes some 39 years later Cassidy finally decided to start performing live again. It’s been eight long years since Don Dokken and the band that carries his surname graced a stage in the Buffalo area. During that time Don Dokken has gone through a lot but like he says he takes what life throws at him and makes out the best he can. Many fans expect an artist to sound like they did 30 years ago and sadly that is not always the case. Being the soldier Dokken is he did the best he could which satisfied the majority of the crowd. Genesis made their first appearance since 2007 at the arena. The show billed as the Last Domino? Tour touched down for band’s 10th show of a 21 date tour. Genesis has had a longstanding love affair with Buffalo so it was special that they played here one more night. It took a few songs for Collins voice to settle in but considering it was the third show on consecutive nights Collins sounded pretty good for his age. Continue reading →
