When speaking with Everclear leader Art Alexakis earlier in the day he said to expect a rock-n-roll show that evening featuring the bands hits and if the fans hit them up on social media they may even pull out some fan requests. Alexakis and the band did not disappoint as they mixed in such songs as “Learning How To Smile”, The Twistinside” and “Sunflowers” among some of the evening’s requests. The 75-minute set marked the band’s first visit to town since 2015 when they played Canalside and the band made it a memorable night to say the least. Continue reading

The esteemed Kenny Loggins played the Fallsview Casino for the final time Friday evening. This show marked his first and final appearance at the new OLG Stage as he had played at The Avalon Theatre on his last visit in 2018. In the announcing of the tour earlier this year he felt the time was right. The Ageless Rod Stewart Makes It Look Easy In Pittsburgh

Sir Rod Stewart mentioned how this seemed to be the loudest he heard a Pittsburgh crowd. Much louder than the old building (meaning Civic Arena or Mellon Arena) he exclaimed. And the crowd roared. Hard to believe Stewart is still touring at the age of 78 much less going out and knocking the crowd dead like he did this past Saturday. Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick opened and did a fantastic job kicking off a great night of music. Continue reading
