Rating The Summer’s Best Shows

Cheap Trick

Summer Concerts 2011
Western NY
By Joseph Suto

The Western NY area was the home to almost every major tour that took place this summer. We were there and covered many of them. We even travelled out of town for a few of the ones that didn’t come. Now our writers will rate all the shows they took in and give you the best of what they saw.

Joe’s Best of Summer 2011

I broke down each show into 3 categories. I rated them on top/middle/bottom shelf. That means the top shelf are the best shows, making the middle the best of the rest, meaning that the bottom shelf were the ones that while they might have been good, just not enough compared to the rest. Also any groups that came together in a tour package I rated as one show overall. All the concerts are listed in order under each shelf.

Top Club Show- Mr. Big- Town Ballroom

Top Amphitheatre show- Journey/Foreigner/Night Ranger- Darien Lake PAC
